How each project works

The client makes initial contact and will usually send through some basic information on the proposed commission. This allows an appropriate timescale to be produced. Chris can also give an idea of costs at this stage.

Once agreed all proposed plans/elevations and any helpful details, including materials/colours should be sent so the drawing can proceed.

It may also be helpful for a site visit to be made, so that Chris can understand fully the project before commencing work.

Preparatory sketches and layout of the drawing will be sent so that the client can confirm they are happy. Once agreed Chris can commit to work on the final drawing.

On completion of the work, the original drawing is released and sent to the client.

Examples of types of Commissions

Chris provides a service for Architects, Designers and Property Developers in all fields of residential and commercial work. Drawings are traditionally rendered in pencil and watercolour, tailored to suit the clients needs, from conceptual sketches to accurate presentation visuals. It is very important to discuss initially, exactly what the client wants to achieve with each drawing.

  • Providing help in winning projects through the use of accurate artistic visuals.

  • Visuals to aid the gaining of planning consent with particular emphasis on historical and listed buildings

  • Producing drawings for marketing/promotion of future projects in all sectors of architecture.

  • Private commissions on request.
