About Chris

Chris graduated in 1995 with a degree in Interior Design from Chelsea College of Art & Design.

He has since worked in the design industry at Architects practices and Marston & Langinger Ltd, in the role of designer. Here he gained valuable experience in the design industry through all stages of construction, from concept too completion on site. The role involved managing various projects at different stages at any one time. Each project included initial site meetings, surveying, presentation drawing for the client, liasing with contractors through to the completed job. In addition Chris also specialised in creating professional illustrations in the company for many other projects as well as his own.

Now concentrating on working independently in the freelance field as an Architectural Illustrator. Predominantly using traditional techniques such as pencil and watercolour drawing.

Chris is also interested in CGI, in particular 3D modelling and how this can be combined with hand-drawn illustrations.

 

Chris is a keen traveller and amateur photographer, travelling extensively through Europe, Southeast Asia, the Far East, Australasia and North America

Chris is a member of the Society of Architectural Illustration.
